Atomfall is a brand new single player survival action game. The game draws inspiration from real world events, British Science Fiction and mixes it all in a cold war setting, to create a world filled with mystery and intrigue.
In this isolated quarantine zone—"Windscale"—all radio signals are blocked by mysterious forces. You can only obtain information through conversations with soldiers and citizens wandering in the old village.
Perhaps the only chance for players to contact the outside world is by using the red telephone boxes anywhere. However, in an environment with no signals, can these creepy telephone boxes really be of any use? Even if a call connects, who would be on the other end to answer?
At the entrance of one of the bunkers lies a mysterious orange circular mark on the ground. Though weathered by time, it remains clearly visible, surrounded by Latin words reading "NOVA LUX DISCUTIT UMBRAS ANTIQUAS"—meaning "the new light dispels the ancient shadows." Is this text a prophecy bringing hope to players, or a long-sealed ancient spell? Perhaps it conveys some hidden message to the players.
Casterfell, where the woods known as the home that summer never sleeps, mist surrounded all year long there. Mysterious blue glows shines from deep caves to abandoned bunkers, and even along railway tracks, bringing peace to the environment. However, within this stillness lies a silent warning, foretelling unknown dangers and secrets that send chills down one's spine. These blue glows, more than the flashlight in hand, guide you to explore the next destination, searching for the long-dormant ancient mystical force—"Oberon."
