Atomfall is a brand new single player survival action game. The game draws inspiration from real world events, British Science Fiction and mixes it all in a cold war setting, to create a world filled with mystery and intrigue.
Follow the clues and unravel the mystery of the Windscale disaster!
Atomfall will not feature a traditional main quest like other games. Instead, it will be structured with leads and clues that you will follow to understand what is going on and where to go next. One unique aspect that you don't see very often is that there is no plot armor for anyone in the game. This means that you can even take out every single character in the game and be the only one left standing if you choose to.
In the story of Atomfall, you won't have traditional quests that are just given to you. This is done with the use of leads, which you can discover through notes found in the world or even given to you by an NPC. However, just because you have a piece of the puzzle doesn't mean you automatically get the next objective. You'll have to use these leads to find your own path through the various quests that often have different solutions depending on who you talk to or what information you have already. Exploring these leads and clues is key to finding out the mystery of the Windscale Atom Plant disaster.
Stealth Attack! Choose your playstyle
You can defeat your enemies in a number of ways. Whether that is by using melee attacks with cricket bats or shooting them with your various firearms like pistols, rifles, and shotguns. However, sometimes it pays to be stealthy and eliminate them quietly from behind.
Sneaking up on an unsuspecting enemy can let you work your way through them easier or help you take down bigger threats before taking on the rest of the group.Be careful though, as doing this to an enemy that is a little too close to another will get you spotted and thrust into a fight you may not be ready for.
Face terrifying enemies ahead...
In Atomfall, there are many enemies you will have to contend with to survive. And uncover the secrets of the Windscale disaster.There are the more primitive cultists, that use weapons like cricket bets and bows, to stop you from interfering with their worship.You will also come across protocol, the military organization sent to maintain the quarantine. They use firearms like pistols. SMGs, assault rifles and more. To try and keep the peace, or at least their own version of it.
Some of the toughest enemies you will come across are the B.A.R.D. Robots.They can use a variety of ways to attack you including flame throwers, and more. Other enemies are to be discovered across your journey. Like irradiated zombie-like creatures.
