"Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade" is a roguelite action RPG set against the backdrop of rampant demons during Japan's Edo period. The story follows the demon king "Nine-tailed Fox," who attacks humanity, shattering centuries of peace between humans and demons, plunging the world into chaos. Players will embody three protagonists: the Ninja Girl "Shigure," the hellish Oni Emissary "Sara," and the Demon Samurai "Taketora," each wielding their unique weapons—demon blade, dual swords, and a traditional bow—to challenge various malevolent spirits, fighting bravely through cycles of life and death while uncovering the truths behind their adventures.
"Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade" will showcase its charming points at the upcoming Steam Next Fest! In the v2.0 demo released during the festival, players will get an early experience of the first half of the main story in the first chapter. We will also unveil new levels, allowing players to explore maps set in different seasons, immersing themselves in the unique and antique atmosphere of Japan's Edo period while challenging new enemies. Additionally, the demo will feature a new boss stage, providing an intense and thrilling combat experience. The new boss mechanisms will test players' strategies and reflexes, ensuring that each challenge is filled with surprises and fun. Stay tuned as we embark on this exciting adventure journey together!
7QUARK has also released previews of the character songs for the three protagonists: Shigure (voiced by Yoko Hikasa), Sara (voiced by Ayana Taketatsu), and Taketora (voiced by Rikiya Koyama) on their social media platforms.
