"Money solves everything" in reality, but not for the world of Atomfall. You will go back to the most primitive form of trade—bartering. If you are easy to satisfy, you may get some traditional British food that helps meet basic daily needs; sometimes you may get ammo and bandages if you are lucky! Generally speaking, "equivalent exchange" is the most basic principle for bartering trade. However, if neither party is willing to compromise, you might have to "fight" your way through and force the transaction...Can you adapt to this new social-norm?
Search and Scavenge, use metal detectors to find weapons for self-defense!
Ammo is scarce and resources are limited in this countryside where it is overgrown with weeds. You need to be equipped with weapons such as pistols, rifles, or shotguns for self-defense. Thankfully, the metal detector can give you a helping hand here—it not only helps you find essential ammo and crafting materials, but can also uncover unexpected survival resources. In this survival, this rare tool is much more precious than gold.
Beware of the surrounding creatures... they may be more dangerous than you think
Your greatest fear is the unpredictable dangers in a new environment. Beyond the cultists and armed B.A.R.D. robots, tiny creatures including rats scurrying at their feet and leeches that silently approach also threaten your safety by attacking and poisoning. Please be careful and be alert with the surroundings.

To get precious resources in this desolate wilderness and uncover the dark mysteries behind the nuclear disaster, the most direct approach is to explore the B.A.R.D. bunkers. Inside, you can find the key to the puzzle — research remnants of science division, the complete answer will be revealed through piecing clues together. Though these bunkers have stood empty and have been abandoned for years with no staff in sight, please do not assume they're empty! Unknown dangers are always hiding in the darkness.
